Create Separate User Profiles in Chrome

Google Chrome allows to create separate user profiles. Creating multiple user profiles will enable you to separate your chrome preferences like themes, bookmarks, settings, etc from others' on the same computer. You can keep your favorite themes, apps and extensions intact by enabling this feature. Chrome creates a separate copy of itself for the multiple users you create.

For example, If you're 4 members in your family say You, Your wife, Mom and Dad. You can create a 4 separate profiles, one for each of you. As a result, now each of you will have a separate copy of Chrome browser itself. Each user's history, bookmarks, themes, apps and extensions will be treated as per respective users settings. If you've, for example, installed a Readability Extension then it will be available in your profile only. Other members will need to install the same if they want.

The other big advantage is that you can login and access to your multiple web accounts for the same website. If you've 2 facebook account then you can access both simultaneously using 2 different Chrome user profiles! Doesn't this super cool?

Embed Fonts In Microsoft Word Document

Find And Remove Duplicates From Spreadsheet

Imagine, you've received 10000 records of Name and Email address in a spreadsheet from online survey of your new product. There is likelihood of getting duplicate records. One should remove such redundant records to get accurate results. Lets see the possible ways to remove duplicates either from Google Docs' Spreadsheet or from Microsoft Excel's Spreadsheet.

To be on safe side I highly recommend to make a copy of your dataset before you experiment any of the following features.

1) Use "Remove Duplicates" feature - New in Excel 2007

This is the simplest way to remove the duplicate records if you are using Excel 2007 or later. Following are the steps.

Save Web Page as PDF Without Any Extensions

There are ample number of PDF Tools and Services are available on internet that can perform PDF conversions and creations. However, they are of no help when you wish to create PDF from some session based webpages like online shopping receipts or transaction pages on banking websites. Indeed, you don't need any PDF services or extensions as long as you've installed Google Chrome browser!

Open the web page you want to save as PDF in Chrome and press Ctrl + P (Cmd + P on Mac). It will open up the Print Dialog. Change the print destination to "Save as PDF" and press "Save".

Create Forms, Surveys and Questionnaires in Google Docs

Want to conduct a survey on your new product? Need to collect feedback from your training session? Any of such activity requires us to create some kind of template or forms where users can provide their feedback or give answers of the questions you asked. Use Forms in Google Docs for such surveys/questionnaires. Google Docs is a free service, that's not confined to just creating documents and spreadsheets only. It's a complete infrastructure to support the collaborative works.

Forms in Google docs are easy to create and use. You can embed forms on your blogs, websites or even you can send the form as an HTML email to your friends to collect responses via Emails. The responses are stored in a Google spreadsheet that can be exported in various formats.

Nokia joined the battle with Apple & Samsung by launching its new smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 920. The new Nokia Lumia 920 has included some attractive specifications like 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, a 4.5 inch dispaly with a 768 x 1280 resolution. Google web fonts is a repository of hundreds of awesome fonts that are specifically designed for web. These fonts are hosted on google.com and can be easily used in your website by adding few lines of CSS or JavaScript in your webpage. All these fonts are offered under Open Fonts License so you can use it even in your commercial projects without any licensing.

Install Google fonts on your computer

You can download all these fonts to your system and use them in your Office documents or anywhere else as these fonts are offered under Open Fonts License. All you just need to do is to select your favorite fonts and download the collection of selected fonts to your system. Once you are done with downloading and installing fonts, you can use them.

Schedule Facebook Page Posts

Facebook lately introduced a notable feature "Schedule Posts" for Facebook Page Admins. If you are among the people who are using some third party apps like HootSuite, Post Planner to schedule the posts, then I think they are of little use now.

Apple may soon join to the mini tablets war with iPad Mini

The war of mini tablet could get tougher upon releasing of iPad mini. 

According to bloomberg, the rumored iPad mini will be launched in this October with a 7.85 inch display. The new smaller displays will be manufactured by both LG Display Co. and AU Optronics Corp.

TPK Holding Co. and Yeh Cheng Technology, a subsidiary of Foxconn group, will supply the lamination coating for the device.
