In the previous post, you just saw how interesting Pinterest is. 
Now, lets look at how to use Pinterest.

Lets start with the first step, i.e. Create a Pin Board in Pinterest.

A Pin Board is something like a topic on which we share that topic related things. Lets call it a set of pins. Also, the number of pins that can be added to a Pin Board is unlimited!!

Create a Virtual Pin Board:

• Login to your account. This is how your home screen looks like. Click Add.

Research inside Google Docs

Day by day Google introducing the new features to its products. Yesterday, Google introduced new feature called Research Pane in Google Docs. Research Pane is a new way to get loads of information from the web while you are creating the document.

The Research Pane directly fetches the search results from Google to Google docs that will ease up the task of researching on any topic while creating documents. For example, you want to add a cool picture of monuments in your research paper or you want to add a destination map of your upcoming trip. Then, it will be much easier to search them directly from the Research Pane and add the related information or images directly to your document.

You can enable the Research Pane under the Tools menu or by right clicking on the word that you want to research about. There is also a shortcut ctrl + Alt + R on Windows and cmd + shift + R on Mac.

Private Browsing

Worried about tracking of your web activity? There are always pros and cons of technology advancements. In the era of internet you can do shopping, banking, reading, downloading and much more with the few mouse clicks.

But, be aware you are monitored! Your each and every move on the web might be being tracked by third party websites. It's not possible to be truly anonymous online, but most of today's browsers allow you to be "incognito". This is called Private Browsing - where your browser won't allow cookies, stop keeping browsing history and will clear the cache files. In consequence,anyone else using your PC won't have clue about what you did over the internet! Sounds good, doesn't it?

Of course, there are many other ways your movements are being tracked. Browser doesn't cover all the tracks. However, if you are shopping from a public computers or doing something else you don't wish others to know about then Private Browsing mode will suffice your need to cover tracks.

Pinterest - The Virtual Pin Board

I am very sure we all have used pin boards some or the other time, in our life, either to have some notes to be referred to in future, to view some things that we like, some reminders, some pics of our favorite super heroes some cool pics, some advertisements, some creative things we made, some comments, certificates, some special comments by teachers, birthday/get well soon/miss you cards, some of our dreams (say guitar pic, a cool Computer) and what not. You name something and you can put it on a Pin Board, because its yours, and it's you to decide what you wanna pin down there!!

Google announces 450 new web fonts for Google docs

Google today announced on its official google docs blog that it is bringing web fonts to Google Docs. You can now use  450 new fonts in your Google Docs.

"In the past month we’ve made updates both big and small to Google Docs, and today we’re announcing one more: web fonts in Google documents. Often the best way to get your point across is to present your idea in a creative, captivating way. Today, we added over 450 new fonts to Google documents to make it easier for you to add a little something extra to whatever you create. -Google Docs Blog"

To use this fonts, click on the font menu and click "Add fonts" at the extreme bottom, it will open up a pop-up menu of all the available Google Web Fonts.
